Keeping up with Nikon

Sun Nov 22 10:08:00 CST 2009 - Filed under: Miscellaneous

jrawio 1.6.1 has been just released and it's available for download. It adds compatibility with the latest Nikon models (D3000 and D5000), fixes two cropping problems with images edited with Nikon Capture NX/NX2 and another issue that prevented the loading of thumbnails from files edited with Nikon Capture NX/NX2. Detailed information are available in the release notes.

The Maven repository has changed and now it's the final one hosted at Kenai's; the new URL is:

<repository>
    <id>maven2-release-repository.jrawio.kenai.com</id>
    <name>jrawio Maven Release Repository</name>
    <url>http://jrawio.kenai.com/maven-repository/releases/</url>
</repository>

Also, we'd like to point out that even though Java 5 by Sun has reached its End Of Life jrawio still commits to Java 5 compatibility and will do in future. The product is specifically tested with both Java 5 and 6 and there are no immediate reasons for dropping support to Java 5.
